The seek/find concept is pretty advanced and I'd imagine that's where the 5-11 age range came from, but this book is a great source for motivational stickers for potty training and the like. I've bought two of these books so far and wouldn't hesitate to order again when we start running low.The larger stickers are big and high quality. The smaller square stickers are where the truth of the "more than 1,000 full-color reusable stickers" statement comes from, but there are still A LOT of the larger stickers as well.It doesn't look like photos of the product can be added to the description above, so I posted two photos with a tape measure for scale here [...] and here [...] to let folks better understand what they're getting. It's sort of surprising to realize that the large stickers are created from photos of the little metal toys. I had no idea how many of those there obviously are.The only thing keeping it from getting the full five stars is that the sheets aren't perforated and many of the stickers go almost up to the binding. If a parent wants to remove a sheet to carry out for the day as rewards the only options are jagged tearing or running a razor blade down the binding and separating other sheets (and compromising the book's binding integrity) as well. A minor problem until you need to do it, but one to be aware of.

My two-year-old love to the sticker book, even after we filled in all of the pages he still like looking through them. I would have given this 5 stars but out of the hundreds of stickers in here there is no Mack? They even have the Peterbilt semi truck that lightning thinks is Mack in the first movie along with so many other characters we don't really care about. That is my only complaint with this awesome sticker book.

Our little one spends hours playing with this sticker book. It’s the second one we’ve bought and will be buying more in the future. It has tons of stickers in it. A lot of them are tiny ones though. There are little descriptions for some of the characters and you can match the sticker up with their designated spot in the book!

Not much else to say. This book has TONS of sticker, is high quality with thicker page and stickers, printed well, etc. My kids LOVE it and I am impressed with its quality. Sometimes you get burned with junk not made well, not printed well, on cheap paper or paper to thin ---NOT in this case. This is a great deal.

This was a fantastic book for the right little boy. He loves the movies and was able to look for the stickers to match the outlines. He loved using the book and I was able to see growth in his being able to locate specific stickers on a page and match them. He is a bright little guy. There were a huge number of extra stickers that he could make "races" and other things with, as well as the sticker used in the first half of the book. It was great to use for travelling, and he looks at the book every day. A good value for a great activity book.

I've purchased four of these so far. My grandson just loves these stickers. Keeps him busy and entertained wherever we go. I take these to the doctor offices to keep him occupied while in the waiting room. Usually another kid or two will come join him in Sticker play. They are good size stickers, easy to peel off for toddler hands, and the best part is that he can reuse them. They come up fairly easy so he can use them again and again. Been buying them for the past year and a half and will continue to do so since he is a bug time Cars fanatic.

Lots of good size stickers but they also have tiny ones also that they add to the count. The stickers don't stick great the clothing which is where my toddler likes to put them. They are good for paper only

This is waaaaay to advanced for my two year old; however, he loves it. It has a TON of stickers. He loves to look through the stickers and learn all the names. We don't use the book pages (there's maybe 10-12), we just put the stickers on paper and hang them in his room. But the amount of stickers is just staggering. A great value.

Very grateful for this book because I truly believe diversity is an essential componentof a livable city! This is a nationwide problem. I myself live in a charming historic neighborhood in a Florida beach city. I'm a year-round, working resident on the low end of the income scale, as are many of my friends and neighbors. Every time an apartment comes free in our neighborhood, it is instantly besieged by a hundred or moreapplicants, all local workers like us who face the challengeof finding affordable housing near the stores, restaurants,hotels, or other businesses where we work. (Most of us donot have cars.) I'm spreading the idea in this book, sharing them with our local govt and resudents!

This book is for both Housing Advocates and density skeptics. Alan provides the regulation history and modern day discussion around rooming houses, roommate caps, and in-law apartments throughout Cascadia (BC, WA, ID, OR) to outline major barriers to affordable housing. More than that, he dissects common arguments against these housing solutions and demonstrates how, to a large extent, moralistic arguments against these solutions (public health, parking, noise, decency, fairness, etc) are mostly veiled or unexamined classist perspectives.

I read this little book hoping to find an argument for protecting neighborhoods or stopping potentially gentrifying development and what I found was so much more interesting. I agree with the author's premise that we have rendered most affordable housing types illegal, which is the crux of the American shortage of affordable housing. I openly wonder if peoples tastes have changed to the point where they wouldn't be interested in the kinds of units Durning proposes -- however why not let the market decide that? I do wish Durning would have touched more on issues of demand and demand for certain kinds of housing, but overall I'm very pleased with my discovery.

This book is a stark reminder of how tragically our society can overlook a crisis if it doesn't affect the rich.Durning gives one of the most devastating critiques of a system that has ever been put into print. One by one he tears down the feeble excuses that have justified blatantly racist and classist housing policies which have driven up prices and wasted precious resources.Just one example: the restrictions on roommates, micro-apartments, and house dwellers, which has so long been touted as a safety measure... well they somehow never apply to servants...This book will enrage you.

Very readable and pertinent for those interested in the tiny house movement as well as those interested in the economic stratification in the USA known as zoning . The research in the book is primarily based on the northwest USA and British Columbia. Still, the information is pertenant to most of North America.

I have always thought that city and local governments dealt with the most boring issues. This book made it clear to me that zoning rues affect climate change, economic mobility, racism and classism. Great book with great ideas. I loved it.

If you want a technical understanding of the laws that restrict housing, this easy-to-read book is for you. Worth the value.

This is well written and full of good local history if you live in the Pacific Northwest. I'd like to see more people read this book!

Note that wisdom is the higher octave of learning, meaning that one can learn something to get by in life but still not have wisdom.The universe is run by a set of laws. The Kybalion gives us a glimpse of these.This thin book is an alchemical modern-day distillation of – NOT creating worldly riches – but of creating mental and spiritual riches: wisdom. The authors are 3 anonymous ‘Initiates’ utilizing Hermetic Principles, passed down to wise “King” Solomon (whose name means “3 lights”, and who lived from 970-931 BCE). These Principles were then later passed down through the portals of the Ancient Mystery Schools 3 ½ centuries ago. Thus, information from that time has been slowly and carefully transmitted through many generations of those who have had the burning desire to question their existence on earth and want to know how they fit into the scheme of things, among other things. Information continued to be guarded by presenting allegorical ‘stories’ and being part of ‘initiations’ of learning and then having that knowledge themselves if they are deemed wise enough to use it properly. Only then could an ‘initiate’ progress onto even higher levels of thought and activity. (Note that one organization with roots in the distant past that survives even today has a person in office named the “Thrice Illustrious Master”.)Attaining wisdom in this way, from mouth-to-ear, this information was safely spread far and wide, and ‘nuggets of truth’ were written allegorically in order to deter or confuse those who didn’t have the correct knowledge ‘base’ to understand it or misuse the information.To originally write this book in 1908, the “3 Initiates” carefully examined the allegories and replaced them with a more practical, easy-to-understand book of these previously ‘hidden” philosophies. They did this as a tip of the hat to the changing of the times in the way that people were starting to think and learn. And to save time.Hermes Trismegistus (from which the word ‘Hermetic’ derives) was ‘half god/ half man’, living in the earliest days of the oldest of the Egyptian dynasties, and then in other incarnations (one of which was Greece) he was the son of Zeus and Maia, the daughter of Atlas. By virtue of being ‘half god/ half man’, he would have knowledge that mere mortals would not have. Hermes is the font from which Hermetic Philosophy flows. It may be the entire Corpus or may be only part of it. And hopefully, there was no ‘loss in translation(s)’. The word ‘Kybalion’ takes the form of a Greek noun but has no meaning. However, the word could, in a hidden form, relate to the word ‘Kabballah’Note that Hermes has had even later incarnations, all dealing with wisdom and its transmission into a multitude of other cultures.Unfortunately, moving through the ages, people started perverting the wisdom knowledge base, so beginning with the Middle Ages, this knowledge went underground. The authors have distilled some major nuggets/ ideas for readers to think about, so that people can evolve; they can also continue to question ideas, and during this process, continue to refine themselves. Those that can’t do this fall away because they don’t have the mental strength to persevere. These people wouldn’t understand the concepts and may even pervert them because they lack the ability to stay with something long enough to learn from and benefit from it. Note also that people who evolve become refined by the trials and tribulations that they face; the result is wisdom and enlightenment, which is earned through hard work and perseverance.The authors of this book, the keepers of this knowledge/ wisdom slowly release their information in general terms to those who are new to gaining wisdom, for them to evolve and mentally and spiritually be able to stitch together the principles that make up the Great Work from all of the major light sources of every great religion or philosophy. I purchased this for my man who is incarcerated. He and I are really exploring a lot of these concepts. It is well written in the aspect that the information is not easy to consume without cumulative knowledge that you have acquired overtime. Initially when I was exposed to a lot of this I considered it hocus pocus mumbo jumbo because I had been brought us Christian all my life. I'm glad that this read did not fall into my life in the very beginning because it would've fell on deaf and dumb ears.If you are not ready to receive this type of information don't waste your time. It will go right over your head as it could've been with the old me. This is meant to be taken in light of itself not comparative to other texts. The best rule of thumb is listen to all spectrums, agreeable as well as disagreeable, with an open mind. Use your God given common sense because we all have it. Then you will be receptive.This information makes sense if you will be open to it. Actually if you really look, these are the same concepts that all these self help gurus who successful people follow are feeding you. They just package it a little differently and take out anything that might be offensive to the masses. I hope you find your enlightenment through it.

For example the principal of rhythm sates (in paraphrase) that no matter what extreme comes in life (or any other set of measure) - that it must in time return to an opposite and equal extreme - so when I have bad days ..and very, very bad days I find comfort in knowing that nature itself will recover them in time and equally good days and very , very good days will happen as the rhythm swings back the pendulum to balance it all out in an enigmatic work of universal justice. This is not a work of spirituality , but definitely sets perspectives of the deeper symmetries of physical reality.

A must for any progressing mind. The book is very thin if that anyhow is important to you. It has paper cover, so yes,it will not preserve well, but I am sure you don't buy books for their looks. If you can fully absorb 10 % of the info from the book, your life will change forever. The book is not an easy read if you are expecting a fast ride. Most people are likely not ready to approach this book thus why it clearly states in the very beginning of it that truth is spoken when you have ears ready to accept the words of wisdom. It will be good to read the book and find a practitioner hermitist since the book only have essence and does not cover topics such as WILL power. The book does give you keys to open or deepen any other knowledge, so if you are into astrology, numerology,any other occult science, you will have a tremendous insights into your studies as an extra unexpected bonus. Again, the book has essence and will keep bringing you back to it from time to time as you uncover more and more of its hidden wisdom.
